GPD and Miku partnering to help out active Officers and their children

In celebration of the Greenwich Police Department's 125th anniversary, MIKU SUSHI is raising money for the Greenwich Police Department Scholarship Fund (gpdscholarshipfund.org) through a special menu featuring three new dishes during the month of September. 100% of the proceeds from the new items on a special menu will be donated to the Department's scholarship fund which grants financial assistance to the children of active Greenwich Police Officers who qualify. The partnership will also raise awareness for the Greenwich Police Department programs and initiatives that protect merchants in the Downtown Greenwich area.

The Organized Retail Crime Activity (ORCA) team at Greenwich Police Department is composed of undercover police officers that help to protect merchants in the central business district area of Greenwich. As a result, hundreds of charges have been brought against suspects and local businesses have improved their crime prevention procedures.

Bike Patrol (sashimi taco) $18
2 pieces of tuna 2 pieces of salmon

Greenwich Police officers are using e-bicycles on Greenwich Avenue to more effectively protect the community. Members of the bicycle unit received special training to operate the e-bikes and between the ORCA unit and Bike Unit, there are typically 5 or 6 officers on the street in the central business district. The e-bicycles have motors that recharge and can achieve speeds of up to 30-40 miles per hour.

First Responders Parade (appetizer) $22

Attend the family-friendly parade down Greenwich Avenue on Sunday, September 19th in celebration of the 125th anniversary of the Greenwich Police Department. The “Wearing of the Green-wich Thank You Parade” will honor essential workers who helped us through the pandemic. This event will be led by 100+ police motorcycles, a team of horses, 10+ bagpipe bands from around the tri-state, and police honor guards from around the country. It will be the biggest parade in Greenwich history.
